Sound Design on “In Search of Elaina”
My friend Kara Ayn Napolitano has written a beautiful play, In Search of Elaina, and I was lucky enough to provide some sound.
This is one of those projects where not only was I excited to work with some lovely, familiar collaborators—it also felt personal to me. After our first read-thru of the script, I was compelled to reach out to Kara and thank her for writing this, and allowing me to be a part of it. Even though the action takes play across the country from where I grew up, it feels so real and familiar to my lived experience.
